What is Truth?

What is Truth?

Well there is not just one answer for what truth really means, Truth can mean something different to anyone like you might think truth is ..

Humiliating

Truth can be humiliating to people because you could think you trust someone and tell them something that you didn’t want anyone to know because it could be a little embarrassing, so you tell them and then they tell someone else and it eventually gets around then you became humiliated, you may try to hid it or cover it up with a lie… but you know that it’s the Truth.

Wanted

Truth is wanted to people because the truth can be hurtful or Exciting. The truth can be hurtful to you because it might not be something you want to hear but just because you don’t wanna hear it dosen’t mean you don’t wanna know it, if someone told  you something that hurt you and you wish it wasn’t true, you would still want to hear it because either way it would hurt you just as much. The truth can be an exciting kind of wanted because if it is some type of juicy gossip you would want to hear it, you may think gossiping is wrong but everyone does it , it may not always be true but you don’t want to be left out of it you want to hear it and that is the truth.

Needed

Truth is needed to people because without the truth everything’s a lie. Truth is needed because if you don’t tell the truth and you tell the fib , and then you tell another one this fib turns into a lie and you don’t become a fibber you become a Liar. Once you a liar no-one believes you anymore. Truth is needed because you don’t want to have people not believe you because when you will need people the most they won’t be their you when you need them. Truth is needed because if you don’t have it you wont have anything.

Buhbyee.

I like your thoughts about truth being exciting. That is something that I think no one else wrote about. But what do you believe to be true about life? you have explained what you think about truth, but you have not told us about your truth. What are the things that you believe to be true?

    Hey Lana,
Nice name. Well, I liked your blog a lot because it focused on three separate views of the truth and all three still had some connection. I guess gossip must happen a lot in your school, it happens over here too. I even sometimes am part of it and I realize gossip isn’t all that great, especially if you’re the one being talked about. How do you think gossip and lying affect people? Well, I enjoyed reading your blog because your view of the truth is deep and interesting. I do think knowing the truth is necessary and important for all people. What do you think would happen if no one knew the real truth? Nice job, I enjoyed it.

I think that you are correct about that the truth can hurt at times. I think that it is better to tell the truth rather than saying a white lie when a person is asking way you think about them. If you are in this kind of situation it is better to tell the truth because later on then it won’t hurt as much than when you lie and sooner or later they find out the truth about them.

I think you are right when you said that people sometimes dont want to hear the actual truth because they’re afraid of what it is. I think that people sometimes just want to hear good things about themselves even if they are lies. Good job on your blog.

I agree 110% when you talk about truth being needed. I know a person, who never really told the truth ever. And then something happened to them and they wanted me to help them. But I didn’t know if they were lying or telling the truth, because this person always lied to the extreme.
So, like you said, when you become a lier nobody wants to listen to you anymore and you don’t have anybody when you need them most.
    Great Post Lamb!

I like how you divided Truth into 3 sections, Humiliating, Wanted, and Needed. However, truth is so much more than that. These 3 categories leave out the beautiful side of truth. Truth can be painful, but it can also be insightful, enlightening, amazing, and beautiful.

    Hi!
My name is Aparna, and I’m participating in the 31-day challenge!
I just wanted to say that I like your perspectives on Truth.
In my opinion, truth is that which is exact. You can interpret my definition any way you want, and it will still be truth.
I hope that can add to your post!

    Hi Lana,

I live in Oregon, and I am participating in the Comment Challenge. I found your blog and I just read your entry on truth. You have some interesting ideas and I like them a lot. I think that everybody can relate to these thoughts about truth.

You did a great job on capturing the feelings we all have – that’s hard to do. I really like what you said about the truth being humiliating, because I think that’s one thing we all feel at some point.

Great job! Keep going! You can check out my blog at http://vcs.21classes.com/8-Elizabeth

I thought this was so interesting. I had never really heard this view on the truth before and found it to be very compatible with thoughts of my own. I liked your view of truth being both good and bad. You used good personification while you talked about truth. I loved your creative opinion.
