The outsiders is a book that my class is reading. The first and second chapters are mainly about meeting the characters, The main one are Pony boy, Soda pop, Darry, they are all brothers , there parents died in a car accident. These are some of the members out of the gang type deal. They are also known as` ” The greasers” . The greasers, ” steal things and drive old- souped up cars and hold up stations and have gang fights once in awhile”. The other gang is called “The Socs” The socs are more high class then the greasers, but they still do stuff like the greasers so they aren’t any better then them,But yeah that was what chapter one was about. Chapter two was about the greasers going to a drive in movie and talking to some the girls socs and they didn’t like Dally but the liked pony boy and invited him to sit down with them, even though he was a greaser.I like this book so far, I also really like the crazy names they had.

Hey.. Decided to write a blog post because I’m sick and I don’t have anything else to do. so I should start off by telling you my granny passed away last night at about 9:15. After I found that out , that night I couldn’t  get to sleep , I think i feel asleep around 1 o’clock but every hour I kept getting up. So this morning I got really sick like I usually do when i don’t get enough sleep, So I throw up this morning * yuck* and My mom called the diabetes people in Winnipeg, and they told her to bring me to our hospital,So we went down there and they did like a billion blood test on me, well not really a billion but they did 2 in my arm, 1 on my right hand and then they had to put a IV in my left hand. I slept pretty much all day today from like 10:30 - 2:00. I fro out of the hospital at around 4:30 and got to go home Finally!. But that is how I spent my day, This sound crazy but I would of rather went to school.

Moodle. Not only is moddle a extremely cool word, But it’s chat rooms. It was like going on msn during school. But it was difficult for all of us getting in the chat rooms and we kept getting kicked off but, we got to talk to the kids in L.A in these chat rooms. We had to talk about the questions the our teacher gave us about power. I thought it was awesome being able to talk to them because they are way in L.A and we are in a small town . But we were talking about the stuff we were doing in school even though we were so far from each other.

Heyy, The last two blog posts were about The Veldt and The Bet. Now,I’m going to compare them

 A simalarity is they have power ,Both stories have a sign of power. In the Veldt the kids had power over the parents and in The bet the banker have power over the lawyer for 15 years.

The differeces they have is  the different kind of power they had over each other.In  the Veldt the kids had power over the parents because of the way their parents raised them. In the bet the banker had power over the lawyer  they made a bet that lastest for 15 years.

Those are the simalities and the differences between The Veldt and The Bet.

Hey,  In the past couple days. My class has been talking about desire & need we also read a story about “the veldt”  this  story has a lot to do with desire and need because, this family that lives in this house doesnt do very much, because there house does everything for them like, tying their shoes, cooking for them, and all kinds of stuff,leaving the family to have to do absolutely nothing. Here is an example of desire and need, the stuff they have is helpful but they don’t have anything to do, they desire to have when they bought the house but really they don’t need it. This story is about power and relationship because the kids have a lot of power over there parents because there parents don’t have control over them because they didn’t really raise them, the house raise them, by tying there shoes, giving them baths, and because there parents didn’t raise them, the parents decided to close down the nursery and the house and then the kids got extremely angry and lock the parents in the veldt with lions.
